As the world becomes increasingly secular there is an even greater need for young men explore their faith through our Religious Education curriculum.
Our students are invited into a deeper relationship with their faith through their exploration of the Scriptures, their participation in personal and communal prayer and their living out of Catholic social and moral teaching. Through their involvement in Religious Education lessons, our young men are provided with opportunities ‘live life to the full’ through a greater understanding and love of God and others.
In Years 7 – 10, students engage in Catholic Studies. Our students are provided with teaching and learning opportunities to develop students’ understanding and appreciation of:
- Scripture and Jesus
- Church and Community
- God, Religion and Life
- Prayer, Liturgy and Sacraments
- Morality and Justice
In Years 11 – 12, students choose to complete Studies of Religion at a one or two-unit level. Studies of Religion involves students developing their academic understanding of a range of different faiths including Christianity and is counted towards students’ HSC studies.
