The students are at the heart of everything we do at St Greg’s.

We focus on providing our students with a balanced education, incorporating a range of learning, spiritual, physical and recreational experiences.

Mr Matthew Brennan

Many thanks for visiting our College’s website! You are most welcome.

St Gregory’s first opened its doors in 1926 as an all-boys Marist boarding school and continues to provide an opportunity for students to be educated at a fine Catholic, Marist school. In 2018, the College embarked on a new bold venture, that of a co-educational Junior School.

St Gregory’s prides itself on being a comprehensive College where students of a wide range of abilities are given opportunities to fulfil their boundless potential. We focus on providing our students with a balanced education, incorporating a range of learning, spiritual, physical and recreational experiences. Greg’s is renowned for its outstanding academic, cultural and sporting achievements, with links to the local and international community and, of course, rural Australia.

There is much commentary today around, that schools must be places of individually tailored learning. Students now use tools that were invented less than a decade ago and embrace new technologies quickly and easily. They demand almost instant access to information and have such advanced skills that, at times, it is important that we remember that they are still very much in their formative years, with all the issues and awkwardness that these years can present. At St Greg’s, we strive to provide that balance required for success. In 2021, the Junior School incorporated in the International Baccalaureate program, Primary Years Programme (PYP).

The students are at the heart of everything we do at Greg’s. We are here to help the students, entrusted to us by their families, to find genuine fulfillment, happiness and security in their lives. Our support and encouragement goes well beyond Graduation Day. As a College community, we take great joy and strength from our ongoing relationships with our ex-students and their families. To be a part of the Greg’s family is truly a gift for life.

I invite you to browse our website to gain a feel for the diversity of academic, spiritual, cultural and personal development opportunities that the College provides. We are very proud of our Marist tradition of hospitality and I extend a sincere invitation to you to visit us, so we may show you the College and how proud we are to be a part of this wonderful community.

My very best wishes,

Mr Matthew Brennan
