Computing
Computer-based technology is an essential and integral part of present-day society. This is reflected in our daily activities that we carry out in contexts such as the workplace, education, entertainment, recreation and the home. In the Computing Studies courses offered at St Gregory's College, students participate in hands-on activities to develop skills, knowledge and understanding related to information and communication technologies so that they can participate confidently in these environments.
Faculty Aims/Objectives:
- Students develop strong technical skills and knowledge and understanding in the computing field
- Students develop problem solving ability and skills to innovatively use technology
- Students develop a high level of literacy, numeracy and digital literacy skills
- Students use technology resources ethically and understand the relevance of technology in the modern world
