About Us

Welcome to St Gregory’s College Junior School,

I would like to extend a very warm welcome to families looking to learn more about St Gregory’s College, whether you are a current family or someone that is interested in learning more about St Gregory’s College. The Junior School opened its doors in 2018 to seven classes and has grown over the past two years. In 2020, we had the absolute pleasure of establishing ourselves as a 2-stream coeducational Junior School (K-6) with 14 classes of students. Our parents have applauded the unique opportunities afforded to their children to grow in confidence and stature, with a sense of wonder, creativity and inquiry. The College prides itself on the opportunities that are available for all our students, whatever their abilities or aspirations. Our students have a deep sense of pride in their school as we all belong to the St Gregory’s College family.

When a family enrols their son or daughter at St Gregory’s College, they are doing so with the understanding that the College is an Independent Catholic School and one that is deeply engrained in the Marist community. The experiences presented to us by living and working in the ‘Marist Way’, permeate everything that we do and strive for at our College. The reputation that the College has been founded on, has centred on excellence in a wide range of holistic pursuits. This has resulted from not only our high quality, passionate teaching staff, but also from the character that our students develop in their time with us – beyond their academic pursuits and across all areas of their personal development.

Our growing staff are passionate about student engagement and strong teacher-student relationships. We want to build and create the future for students of the Junior School, ensuring they begin their lifetime of learning with a sense of wonder and a spirit of inquiry. Many families enrol their son or daughter in the College based on the person that they will become, and this is something that we understand and are delighted to be a part of. The College has a philosophy that literacy and numeracy form the foundation of a student’s interaction in society and strong early years literacy and numeracy programs are paramount to a student’s success. Come and see the College in action and see the approach in action as students engage in the core business of learning in all they do.

It is our vision that everyone in our St Gregory’s College community will be the best version of themselves so that they are inspired to make a difference for good. As our College motto states, “You will reap what you sow”.

We thank you for taking the time to visit our website and invite you to experience St Gregory’s College for yourself. Tours run regularly throughout school terms and provide a wonderful way to meet our staff, hear about our exceptional learning programs and see how the facilities and resources of the College assist our students in their learning journey.

It is an exciting time to be at St Gregory’s College!
